Burger-Beer-Brownie Lunch
How’s that for covering all the major food groups?
For $20, the Quiver Bar inside Epic Roadhouse in San Francisco will serve up “3B” –a 1/2-pound Roasthouse Burger that’s ground daily, an ice-cold 12-ounce Budweiser, and a house-made brownie.
Those with more discriminating thirsts can substitute an Anchor Steam or Trumer Pils draft beer. Those who don’t want the buzz can opt for a Thomas Kemper Root Beer.
The “3B” special is available Monday through Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hi Carolyn!
Burger, cold beer and brownies, 3 of my most favorite things together…yummy!!
Cheers with beer 🙂
Gera
A great looking plate! Yummy!
cheers,
Rosa
I might try this, hope they can substitute the beer for something else. I don’t like the taste of beer. Plus instead of chips hope I can get something else too.
I know I’m weird but I just keep thinking how pretty that slice of tomato is in that picture! LOL
Is it worth $20? What kind of beef do they use?
I’m with Chef Ben, that tomato looks heavenly (since all the ones I’ve had recently have been cardboard). I had dinner at Epic last year and it was pretty good. Unfortunately it’s too far for lunch.
That’s a steal of a deal for $20. Guess we can think this sinking economy for one thing: meal deals!
Wow! That’s decadent.
Is that a vast array of condiments I see on the side?
Hey Carolyn,
Our favorite along these lines is the burger at Cafe Rouge in Berkeley. Wash it down with a martini and finish it off with any of the deserts. Or, skip the burger and go from the cocktail straight to the bread pudding at Cesar. But, I digress.
Yes, indeedie. That is a wealth of condiments that you see. 😉
That is one amazing platter!
