A Gin-Centric Cocktail for the Lunar New Year
Toast the Lunar New Year with a “Lychee Lunar” at S&P Brasserie at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in San Francisco.
The gin-centric bar is offering this special cocktail from Feb. 10-20.
The $10 libation is a mix of Beefeater Gin, Don Q rum, Sensei Lychee Falernum, fresh lemon juice, a splash of crème de cassis, and soda water. It’s garnished with a clever serpent’s head fashioned out of a strawberry, juniper berries and a pepper.
LOL, that strawberry dragon on that “Lychee Lunar” drink looks more like a frog. 🙂
Brilliant idea to get the chefs to create a bonbon for that box!
Oh Carolyn, I would love to try the chocolates…and the strawberry is so cute 🙂
Hope you are having a great week!
That is one amazing box of chocolates! And it’s honor of such a wonderful cause.
I’m excited about Kara’s cupcakes. Whenever we visit some friends around that area, I need a place to swing by to pick up some goodies. This will be a very convenient stop by. They used to have another cupcake store what was the name… tea cake cupcake or something. I think it disappeared… Great that Kara’s cupcake is coming! And I want the boxes of all that chocolates from famous chefs… 🙂
the box of chocolates sounds so fun!
I love the idea behind that chocolate box! It would be so fun to compare (and eat) all the different chocolates! So fun and yummy!
