New Newman’s Own Organics Cookies
Newman’s Own Organics has launched two new cookie flavors that are dainty two-bite wonders.
Dont’ let this close-up fool you. These Ginger Snap and Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies measure in at only 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
They’re crunchy little things. The oatmeal one has a hearty grain flavor from organic whole wheat and organic oats. It’s like a better version of a Chips Ahoy! The ginger snap, which has a nice kick of heat from candied ginger, has a classic, but more intense appeal. These would be fabulous ground up for a pie crust, too.
Five of the oatmeal cookies weigh in with a total of 140 calories and 6 g fat, while the same number of ginger snaps has 10 fewer calories overall and 3.5g fat. Both are vegan friendly, as they’re made with organic palm fruit oil.
With their petite size, they’d be perfect for kids’ lunch boxes.
Each approximately 7-ounce bag is $3.49.

for the last month i’ve been raving about paul newman’s cookies. my favorite is the double chocolate chip cookies, that i do not share. there’s also the mint oreo-like cookies that my boyfriend devours. that company really knows how to derail a diet, but also encourage dairy-free sweet tooths like me that there are GOOD cookies out there that you can buy!
