Something Fishy for 2013
How cute are these?
I couldn’t resist snapping a quick pic of a holiday gift that my husband’s nephew, Chris, gave us.
Think of them as the ultimate sustainable sushi that’s also calorie-free and needs no refrigeration.
These plush, actual nigiri-sized plush sushi (along with a gyoza for good measure) were hand-sewn by Chris’ friend, Jell, who sells them on Etsy for $40 for a six-piece set.
Now, this is one sushi assortment I can enjoy for years and years to come.

These are so adorable! What a fun gift! We didn’t really exchange gifts this year. The only food related gift I got was from my friend Nancy Baggett who sent me her cookbook Simply Sensational Cookies which I love!

These are really adorable! Lots of food related gifts – new bread knife, thermapen, sweet cream and sugar cones cookbook (tried two recipes so far and they are awesome!) and participated in a holiday treat exchange on Food52 and received some yummy goodies.
They are just adorable…what a fun gift!
